I am a Senior Manager of Research & Development at Parity Computing where I'm working on building new information extraction technologies. Concurrently, I am finishing a Computer Science PhD at the University of California, Irvine. My research is focused on data mining in large-scale real-world networks. Prior to entering the PhD program I worked as a senior software engineer and consultant designing large-scale, high-performance, object-oriented systems for applied scientific problems including military simulation, credit card scoring, protein sequence analysis, and derivatives arbitrage. I earned an MS in Computer Science from University of California, Irvine and a joint Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego.
